Ohhhh yes. It’s finally here.
 
After much anticipation, Taco Farm is finally opening its doors on Tuesday June 18th, at 5:00PM.
 
Come enjoy tacos, beer, tequila, and the freshest tortillas in town (all gluten-free).

Taco Farm is our interpretation of the foods we in Canada have come to know as "Mexican". A combination of one of the worlds greatest cuisines and our local connections to the land around us.
We are not a Mexican, El Salvadorian or even Central American restaurant, we are a Taco Bar or as we like to call it a TACO FARM. This means we are cooking without borders or rules. It means that the food is NOT authentic and will not taste like your Mexican Grandmothers cooking and we never wanted it to. What does this mean for you? It means face melting flavours, brain busting bites, drinks that will change the way you thirst and an ambiance that will keep you coming back to the FARM again and again!
MENU

Tacos
We make our own tortillas from 100% white corn flour, they're gluten free and always available for purchase to take home to enjoy with friends and family.

Beef
Slow cooked cross cut beef rib, pineapple, oranges and hot pickled peanuts

Camarón
Labrador shrimp, creamy chipotle sauce and avocado

Carnitas
Spiced pork shoulder, pico de gallo and guacamole

Chicken Pibil
Achiote-citrus banana leaf stewed chicken, pickled onion and guacamole

Grilled Cheese and Smoked Mushroom
Smoked mushrooms, Oaxaca cheese, pickled jalapeno salad, cocoa-mole

Fried Fish
Cripsy fried fish (ask for today's selection), cabbage crudito, farm sauce, lime and cilantro

Frijoles
Refried pinto beans, sharp aged cheese and grilled green onion and corn salsa

Smoked Pork Belly
Maple Habanero smoked belly, red beet crudito, farm sauce and lime

Tequila Chorizo
Taco Farm tequila sausage, Vera Cruz sofrito and tomatillo

Pickle Jar
Jalapeño, carrot, cauliflower and onions

Tortilla Soup
Rich chicken broth, queso fresco, avocado, pickled onion, tortilla, cilantro, lime and shredded chicken

Avocado Salad
Avocado, mango, tomato, greens, queso fresco, roasted pepitas, lime

Fried Chicken
Whole birds chopped and brined for 24 hours. Fried in 100% corn flour and finished with Tequila, honey, lime and black pepper. (Available plain for kids!)

Bay Scallop Ceviche
Bay scallops lightly cured in citrus with grapes, onions, chillies and cilantro. Served with chips

Queso Fundido
Bubbling fresh cheese in a skillet, optional chorizo sausage and warm tortilla

Chips and Guac
Chips and the best guacamole this side of the big fence

Nachos
Chips, queso fresco, crisp pork belly, fried anchovy, radish pico de gallo and salsa de muchos chiles

Mexican doughnuts with either dulce de leche, pineapple sauce or spiced chocolate

Farm citrus, cointreau, tequila blanco and a sea salt rim.

Flor de Jamaica
Hibiscus flower infused tequila blanco, hibiscus tea, farm citrus and a hibiscus rim.

Lemongrass, Mango and Melon
Mango and cantelope purée, lemongrass syrup and tequila blanco.

Pineapple and Guajilo Chile
Grilled pineapple purée, lime juice, tequila blanco, guajilo chile drizzle and a guajilo chile rim.

Tequila blanco, muddled cucumber, sangrita (chipotle citrus tomato juice) and a chipotle cilantro rim.

Mojito
Eldorado Demerara Rum, fresh mint, lime juice, mint infused simple syrup and soda.

Passion Fruit Sour
Tequila Reposado, farm citrus, passion fruit and egg white.

Bourbonade
Four Roses Bourbon, fresh lemon and lime juice with rosemary syrup.

Lailey Vineyard Vidal, hibiscus tea, citrus brandy, farm citrus, soda and fresh fruit.

Dry pear, yellow flowers, minerality and a touch of grapefruit.

Dry with sweet and spicy notes of dark cherry and strawberry.
